Before the First Day

Grace Lott lists four preparation items:

1. Get to know the district. A "District Roster" PDF with photos of the other missionaries was attached, and the district members were also copied on the email. Missionaries are welcome to reach out to one another by email or social media before starting.
2. Google Calendar. The district uses a shared Google Calendar throughout the MTC. Natalie should add the district calendar to her @missionary.org Google Calendar account using the linked "Google Calendar Instructions" document, and is encouraged to install the Google Calendar phone app.
3. Review "Online MTC for Missionaries" to prepare for the first Zoom call.
4. Review "Prepare for your MTC Experience" (a document she may already have seen) to begin organizing her time as a missionary.

First Day: July 8, 2026

• First class with her teachers: 8:30 AM Mountain Time. Join 15 minutes early via Zoom (https://missionary-org.zoom.us/my/sister.hardy). Prepare by familiarizing herself with "Your Purpose" (Preach My Gospel, page 1, red box).
• First introductory workshop, "Fulfill Your Missionary Purpose": an online large-group meeting for all new missionaries, 8:00-8:30 AM, via https://missionary-org.zoom.us/j/99000438242 (also on the Google Calendar).
